There are certainly some good things happening at HAC. We’re barely into the season and it’s looking like we’ll have a bumper representation at winter Festivals in February. We’ve got ten Festival qualifiers already with solid hopes for more, that’s compared to the eight that qualified last February. Way to go swimmers AND coaches. Go HAC Go!!

Level 2 Gold – Coach Melanie Price:

Another great meet for our 2G swimmers, with almost 90% personal best short course times! The following 2G swimmers had 100% best SC times at the meet: Noah Alkazely, Madelaine Armstrong, Eric Lee, Lucia Lee, Hayden Machado, Alexa Poyton, and Claira Versteeg. 2Gs most improved swimmer at the BAD Invitational was Justin Tiffany taking a combined 75 seconds off his 7 races. Carla Sophia Rodriguez had the largest single race drop in her 200 free taking 39 seconds off. The relays made for some excitement, especially with Claira making her 1st of the new harder Regional qualifying times as the lead off leg in the medley, after narrowly missing in her individual 200 back earlier in the weekend. Eric also made the new Regional standard in 50 & 100 Free and 50 Fly!

Medals:
Madelaine Armstrong – 2 Bronze (50 Back & 50 Breast)
Carla Sophia Rodriguez – 1 Bronze (50 Breast)
Claira Versteeg – 1 Bronze (100 Free)

Way to go 2G!!
